You’ve probably heard of a SUMIF, have used a VLOOKUP, and successfully put together an INDEX MATCH a few times. Or maybe you’ve never used them, but need to start building a financial model and need to nail it.
No-one taught me how to use formula, until I’d constructed 100mb models that were hugely inflexible, had hardcoded dates (use EOMONTH instead), used SUMIFS to slice and dice inputs every which way. It wasn’t that I didn’t know how to use formula. I just didn’t know how to use them efficiently. And I didn’t know when they broke.
In this module, I’ll give you loads of practical examples, and save you (probably years) of time figuring it out yourself. I’ve taught financial modeling classes for many years now to top institutions (Macquarie Capital, World Bank, PWC, Deloitte… the list goes on). And I found that many people in finance were in the same boat. They’d pulled the knowledge together. And maybe taken a course.
Not only is this course based off my years of finding peoples gaps - I’ve reverse engineered best practice financial models, used to raise hundreds of millions of dollars. And I present the top ten formulas, and more.
